What to expect:
I try to shoot as often as possible outside using natural light and local environments, it would be a shame not to take advantage of the wonderful countryside all around Lanark for your family or lifestyle photography session. Not only does the countryside provide a fantastic backdrop, but it's often more fun and interesting than the studio environment. People tend to be more relaxed in surroundings that they are comfortable with, and we do not need to be limited to shooting in the local area - we can meet at your favourite beach, forest walk, or city park.
I want to offer you a truly enjoyable and memorable photo experience, so before the session takes place we will chat to ensure that I capture the look and feel that you want. We can talk about location, what looks good with regard to clothes, or any props that you may want to bring, like a favourite children's toy or musical instrument. The aim is to make your photo session as informal and as much fun as possible! Precious moments with our children and partners are the memories that we cherish the most, they stay with us forever. What better way is there to preserve these fleeting moments than to own a set of images that perfectly captures a particular moment in time?
What will it cost?
Family/Lifestyle Photo session: £190
Your bespoke photo session will take place at a location of your choice, and we'll have plenty of to time to get some wonderful images - this is a fantastic option for family photoshoots, engagement sessions and family events. This longer photoshoot gives us time to incorporate lots of different looks, poses and even a change of clothes to ensure that we capture exactly the look that you want. Your session fee includes 60-90 minutes of photography, and the very best images from your photo-session will be expertly edited then and uploaded to your own private password protected gallery on my website. You can then choose your favourite images and as part of your package you will receive a portfolio box containing seven mounted 5x7" prints. In addition you will also receive two digital, branded preview images which you can share with family and friends on social media.
Once you have viewed your online gallery, you will also have various upgrade options available to you. You may wish to receive ten 12x16" mounted prints (actual print size 8x12") for £220, or you may choose to include a forever album or framed print for an extra £310. Your beautiful 12"x8" album will provide you with a family heirloom that you and your children will treasure long into the future. This contemporary album comes complete with a matching box that doubles as a frame which looks great sitting on permanent display in your home. Your album has beautiful lustre photographic paper with a seamless centrefold and edge to edge printing. Handpick your favourite 30-40 images from your photosession and you will have a very beautiful memento that you will cherish forever. As an alternative to the album, you can choose to have a beautiful framed print for your wall, with the 16"x12" frame holding a 14"x10" print.
Portrait Session: £220
We'll take our time in the studio to capture the look that you want - the session will be nice and relaxed, and following post production you will be able to choose your favourite images from your own password protected gallery on my website. You will receive ten 5x7" mounted prints presented in their own portfolio box, as well as two branded digital preview images for you to share on social media. Of course, there's also the opportunity to purchase a framed print of any of your gallery images and I'll be happy to discuss these options with you once you have had a chance to view all your online gallery.

After your photo session:
I will skilfully retouch the best images from your lifestyle session in my digital darkroom. Three to four weeks after your photo session you will be able to view your completed images on my website.
